Communications and Campaigns Manager

30-37hrs per week

Hybrid working (2 days per week in our Bodmin office)

Are you a creative communications professional who wants to use your skills to make a real difference?

This key new role within our organisation could be just the fit as you will be in a position to evolve and guide varied communications and campaigns as a key voice within our leadership team.

This is a unique opportunity to balance leadership and strategy, with hands on communications and changemaking activity. It provides the space to shape and develop our communications to reflect our new structure and remit.

You will be in a position to have an impact from day one crafting powerful stories that elevate our mission, strengthen our activism and changemaking, spark fundraising and shape our brand across all our channels. You will have a keen eye for writing, and communications opportunities drafting everything from media press releases through to social media posts, event preparations and newsletters.

The role will have responsibility for the communications of our main channels and website as well as additional elements within our brand of Women’s Campfire forum and our Bridge Project and Oak Service (multi-organisation partnerships).

You will be joining at a key time as we look to branch out into new areas of communications and expand work already underway. For example, events surrounding our 30th anniversary next year, as well as utilising new avenues to reach supporters and a communicating our widening offering across Cornwall. The role is integral at drawing together our growing, dispersed team through the advancement of internal communications and will also take a leading role on ensuring that the organisation gains exposure as well as coordinating events, developing design work and internal resources.
