You are welcome to call our Helpline for support or join our online Campfire community for women living with the impact of any form of child sexual abuse, domestic abuse, harassment, rape and sexual violence.
When you call our Helpline, a specially-trained woman will answer your call. She will listen to you, respect you and give you space to talk about how you are feeling, appreciating the courage it has taken you to pick up the phone.
Even if you are not sure what to say, you can still reach out to us. We will be here while you find the words and support you along the way.
If we are not able to support you in the way you need, for example if you need legal advice, we will give you details of other helplines and organisations who can help.
“From the moment I contacted the Helpline I felt held.”
Call us on 01208 77099 any time between 10am – 1pm from Monday to Friday.
We are also open Monday evenings from 6pm – 9pm.
If you call outside of these hours, we have a 24-hour answer-phone service. Here you can leave a safe number on which we can call you back. During the working week, we will respond to your message within 24 hours.
You can also refer yourself in for specialist support through the Helpline.
Campfire
Campfire is our online community for women living with the impact of any form of child sexual abuse, domestic abuse, harassment, rape and sexual violence.
The forum offers a space in which you can be yourself.
It is free and available to also download as an app on your smartphone by searching 'Campfire Forum' in any app store.
Campfire is the first app of its kind for women survivors of sexual and domestic abuse in the UK.
In the Campfire forum, you can post questions anonymously or write about how you are feeling. You can also connect with other women who have been through similar experiences.
Abuse and violence often leaves us feeling isolated and silenced. We bring women together around the warmth of our own fire so we can have our voices heard and feel empowered together.
Campfire brings us back to our roots as women...being in nature, telling stories, making friendships and connecting through our shared feelings and experiences.
